Every wealth management firm claims to serve their clients' best interests. At Redwood Financial, we back up our words with substance.
We believe that our independence, investing approach and emphasis on client service help us to stand apart from most firms.
As an independent wealth management firm, Redwood Financial works for its clients, period. Because I do not answer to any investment product manufacturer or parent brokerage company, I can provide objective advice and recommend the best investment options for your unique needs.
My affiliation with the nation's largest independent broker/dealer* enables me to offer access to a broad range of investments from third party money managers.

Some advisors focus on pushing the latest "hot" investment to clients. My targeted asset allocation approach is disciplined, designed to pursue long-term goals and is firmly based in respected academic research. I am proud to be among a limited group of advisors offering Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA) mutual funds through LPL Financial.
Investing involves risk including loss of principal. No strategy assures success or guarantees against loss.
I design an investment plan for you based on my understanding of your situation and your goals. I build the plan using a responsible, research-based method. I strive to protect your wealth, and your future, through a disciplined, structured approach. My goal is to help you be prepared, so you can stick with your plan. Please read more about my process below.
Design
My firm exists to help you pursue your life goals. In designing your investment strategy, those goals are my main guide. Your portfolio is designed to consider your current needs as well as your long-term goals. Managing various types of risk including market volatility, economic fluctuations, and the emotional stress that can cause investors to abandon their investment plans is key to my approach.
Build
With more than 80 years of academic research as my guide, I build your investment portfolio with a focus on three primary factors:
I believe getting these decisions right can have a decisive impact on your portfolio performance over time.
Manage
One of the major success factors in investing is discipline. Market volatility and headline news can tempt many of us to change course, but impulsive decisions almost always negatively affect portfolio performance in the long run. We continually monitor your portfolio and periodically re-balance your holdings to maintain a set proximity to our target asset allocation of stocks and bonds and their corresponding sub asset classes. As a result, the risk within your portfolio remains within the comfort zone we established during the design process.
